Ingredients

Moong Dal 1 cup
Coconut 1/2 cup
Garlic 1 clove
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Green chilly 3
Coconut oil 1 tsp
Salt as per taste


Directions

Cook moong dal in a pressure cooker using 1 cup of water. Mean while grind coconut, cumin seeds, green chilly and garlic together to get a fine paste. Add this to cooked dal along with turmeric, salt and little water. Cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Add coconut oil and remove from flame.

Tips of the day
Leftover chappathies can be cut into small diamond shaped pieces with a pair of kitchen scissors and deep fried till golden brown. Store in air-tight containers.
